This tutorial covers the basics of using the character panel inside Adobe Illustrator. The character panel has tools for basically everything you need to do to your type in Illustrator including changing the size, weight, tracking, kerning, leading, baselines, and much more!

This tutorial is aimed at beginners, but hopefully it also has some additional tips that some more advanced users can get some use out of.
