How to Use the Eyedropper Tool Outside of Photoshop Tutorial

October 10, 2015

This tutorial goes over how to pick a color outside of Photoshop using the eyedropper tool. The ability to quickly sample a color outside of Photoshop can be quite handy when you're referencing images or designs that use colors you like, or if you're trying to create mockups of websites etc etc and you want to grab a color without saving the image of taking a screenshot.

Handy shortcut: "I" is the keyboard shortcut for the eyedropper tool.
